In-Office Whitening
If you are looking for a quick solution for whitening your smile for a special event, such as a wedding or class reunion, we use a groundbreaking in-office teeth whitening system that uses innovative, patent-pending technology to deliver professional, clinically proven and long-lasting results. How it works: Our clinicians apply a barrier that ensures that whitening gel only touches the surface of your teeth and switch the gel periodically to ensure you’re getting the best results possible. Our in-office whitening takes roughly 90 minutes to complete and causes less sensitivity than other whitening systems on the market. Although results are not permanent, they are long-lasting and can be easily maintained with follow-up treatments or with a take-home whitening tray.
At-Home Bleaching
If immediate results are not your primary goal, we provide take-home whitening kits that can reveal dramatic results in about one to two weeks in the comfort of your own home. Dr. Elannan will take impressions of your teeth for customized whitening trays to be fabricated that fit securely over your top and bottom teeth. Once the trays are ready, she’ll provide you with a take-home whitening gel. After the desired shade is reached, the remaining whitening gel can be stored in the refrigerator for use again in the future.
To achieve the best overall results, we often suggest that patients use a combination of in-office whitening plus a few nights of follow-up whitening at home. Because teeth can pick up stains over time, patients are also encouraged to continue using the home whitening trays after their regular cleanings or any time they feel the need to brighten their smile again.
